2017年度 お正月会

今年も、恒例行事のお正月会が開催されました。

餅つき、書初め、福笑い、けん玉、かるた、コマ回しなど、お正月の伝統的な遊びをみんなで楽しみました。できたてのお餅には長蛇の列！あんこ、大根おろし、しょうゆ味でおいしくいただきました。

2018 New Year’s Celebration at WJSS

New Year’s Celebration Day is an annual event we celebrate at WJSS. Children had a go trying fun traditional new year’s activities like New Year calligraphy, fukuwarai, kendama, karuta and spinning tops.

We also had a mochi making demonstration by the parents and teachers. Afterwards, we all had a try of freshly made mochi with topping options of red bean paste, grated radish and soy sauce. It was a huge hit with the children and the parents.
