2016年度 お正月会

あけましておめでとうございます。新年最初のイベント、お正月会が1月8日に開催されました。お餅つきに伝統遊び、書き初めと和やかな雰囲気で楽しく過ごすことができました。日本から届いたお習字の硯や文鎮など、本格的なお習字道具を用いての書き初めは、子どもたちも大喜びで楽しんでいました。

今年もご協力くださった保護者の皆さま、有志の方々、そしてファウ・ローカルボードのご支援に、心より感謝申し上げます。

児童・生徒の皆さん、新学期はもうすぐです。また一緒に学べるのを楽しみにしています。

Happy New Year!  The New Year Celebration was held on 8 January 2017. We all shared heart-warming start of the year pounding and eating mochi/rice-cake, playing traditional games and Japanese calligraphy.  Kids were so thrilled to work on their masterpieces using brand-new, authentic calligraphy materials such as ink stones and paper weights.

Many thanks to all attendants including volunteers and parents, and to the event sponsor Whau Local Board.
